Brazilian free-tail bats are the most commonly found within Florida structures. Once a colony starts rest assured it will grow in size. In Florida, once the bats form a colony, they are not leaving as they will live in these structures year-round. Bats living within structures pose huge health risks to humans. Some bats may carry rabies among many other life-changing zoo tonic diseases and if they come in direct contact with a human, it could be spread. Anybody who has come in physical contact with a bat should thoroughly wash and disinfection of the area is mandatory. If you are bitten by a bat seek emergency medical attention. Another health risk associated with a bat infestation is the droppings they leave behind. Contained within bat droppings are diseases that can be easily transferred to humans. Don’t Trap! How Expert Wildlife Solutions correctly Gets Rid Of Bats In Your Home

When it comes to bats, do not try to trap, poison, or physically show them the door. At Expert Wildlife Solutions, we legally and humanely get these Federally protected bats to leave on their own. Our fully insured, certified, and experienced professionals will rid your home of bats once and for all! What we do;

 *We perform a thorough inspection of the home and surrounding buildings, to determine where the bats are entering, and determine the type of bat we are dealing with. The most common bat we see in Florida is the Brazilian free-tailed bat.

 *We then seal up all potential entrances in the infected building and surrounding buildings on the same property, EXCEPT the entrances the bats are using.

 *One way doors that allow the bats to leave but not return are then put into place over the bat entrances.

 *We then leave and return about 4 days later remove the one-way devices, seal up the remaining holes., and begin the decontamination process. Depending on the size and duration of the infestation, we can use anything from a live enzyme fog to help remove animal disease and attractants to completely removing and replacing the attic insulation.
